Install bushings (16) and retaining rings (15) in plate assembly (7) .

Install plates (12). Apply Tooling (A) to plates (12) .
Apply Tooling (B) to adjusters (13) and install the adjusters (13). Set the gap from the top of plates (12) to the top of adjusters (13) to 12.0 mm (0.47 inch).
Tighten nuts (14) to a torque of 200 40 N m (150 30 lb ft).

Attach a suitable lifting device to plate assembly (7) and install plate assembly (7) in frame (8). The weight of plate assembly for the AS-2251 Screed (7) is approximately 63 kg (140 lb). The weight of the plate assembly for the AS-2301 Screed is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).
Install tube assemblies (11), caps (9), and bolts (10) .

Install trunnion (6), bushings (4), the spacers (if equipped), and bolts (5) .
Install bracket assembly (1) on the frame. Install height adjuster jack (2) and bolts (3) .End By: Install the height adjuster group (extender). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Group (Extender) - Install".
