Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the belt tensioner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Tensioner - Remove".

Remove fitting (3), bolts (2), and cover (1) from hub assembly (4).

Remove bolts (5), end plate (6) and shims (8).
Remove bearing cone (7) from hub assembly (4). Remove hub assembly (4) from the spindle.

Remove fitting (9) from hub assembly (4).

Remove lip seal (10) from hub assembly (4).

Remove bearing (11) from hub assembly (4).

Remove studs (12) from hub assembly (4).
Remove bearing cups (13) from hub assembly (4).
Repeat Steps 1 through 8 in order to disassemble the other hub assembly.

Remove pipe plugs (19) from arm (14).
Remove spring pins (21) and pivot pin (22). Separate arm (14) from idler shaft (16).
Remove pipe plugs (15) from link assembly (17).
Remove spring pins (18) and pivot pin (20). Separate link assembly (17) from idler shaft (16).

Use a suitable press and remove bearings (23) from link assembly (17).

Use a suitable press and remove bearings (24) from arm (14).
