Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the drum. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drum - Remove".
Remove the piston motor (drum propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Drum Propel) - Remove".

Attach a suitable lifting device to drum assembly (1). The weight of drum assembly (1) is approximately 1814 kg (4000 lb). Lift drum assembly (1) and place suitable blocks under drum assembly (1) .

Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device to half of drum assembly (1) .
Remove bolts (2) and half of the drum.

Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to eccentric weight (3). The weight of eccentric weight (3) is approximately 289 kg (637 lb).
Disconnect hose assembly (4) from eccentric weight (3) .

Remove bolts (5) and eccentric weight (3) .
