The main hydraulic system operates at a pressure of approximately 30900 kPa (4500 psi). The oil pressure in the main system must be released before the disconnection or the removal of any oil lines before disconnection or the removal of any oil lines or components that are connected to the main system.
1. Lower the equipment to the ground. Stop the engine. 2. To release the oil pressure in the bucket and stick hydraulic circuits, remove five plugs (1) and slowly open the five plugs under cover (2) until the oil pressure is released. Tighten the five plugs and install five plugs (1). 3. To release the oil pressure in the boom hydraulic circuit, slowly open screws (3) 1/2 turn until the oil pressure is released. Tighten the screws.
