(A) Hose routingHose routing (A) of the drain line from the torque converter to the transmission unit may not provide adequate drainage on the machines listed above. Original hose routing (A) may cause back pressure which may lead to oil build-up in the engine flywheel housing, resulting in the transfer of transmission oil into the engine. Plugged breathers could also cause issues with oil draining properly.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem and recommends the interim solution that is given below.
