Install an appropriate nylon lifting sling to pin (5). Use an appropriate lifting device to lift the pin into position on the work tool. The weight of the pin is 33 kg (73 lb). Apply 4C-5598 High Temperature Anti-Seize to pin (5). Coat the threads and the smooth surface of the pin. Align the pin with the stops in the housing. Use a large hammer and a brass drift to install the pin. Remove the lifting sling after the pin is secure.

Use Tooling (A) to install nut (4) on the pin. After you tighten the nut, back off the nut until the nearest set of holes are aligned. Install the two bolts and the washers that secure the nut to the housing.

Align the lower pin hole. Use two adjusting bolts (10) to align the jaw with the lower housing. The bolts are located at the bottom of the jaw.
