Be completely familiar with the machine before operating on extreme side slopes.Never fully articulate the machine uphill on steep slopes.On extreme side slopes the machine can overturn and cause personal injury or death.
Note: On steep slopes, operate the machine in first speed and at a reduced engine speed. When you work on slopes, use the accelerator in order to control the speed of the machine.

Use crab steering when you operate the machine on extreme slopes. The use of crab steering will help to keep the back of the grader on the downhill side of the cut. For maximum stability, articulate the machine in order to offset the machine.

Use crab steering when the front of the machine slips due to the heavy side load on the blade.
