D8N (9TC) TractorsDescription of Change: The torque for bolts holding the stator to the carrier has been increased to 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft). The higher torque ensures the joint does not come loose.Adaptable To: The higher torque for 1T0414 Bolts is in effect with torque converter PIN numbers: D6H - 1T1918 (94T1684), 1T1917 (1GT3104); D7H - 1T1919 (92T1573); and D8N - 1T1920 (95T6057). The higher torque is adaptable to all earlier torque converters. The higher torque should be applied to all 1T0414 bolts holding the stator to the carrier, when a torque converter comes in for an overhaul.
