Pilot oil also flows through pilot passage (28) to left travel control valve (3). Pilot oil from the boom pilot control valves flows to control valve (15) through pilot passage (14). When control valve (15) is operated, passage (27) is blocked. When passage (27) is blocked the pilot oil pressure increases in pilot passages (23) and (24). The increased pilot pressure activates straight travel control valve (2) .Control valve (10), swing control valve (11), control valve (15) and bucket control valve (13) are connected in series by passage (29). When any of these control valves are operated, the connection between passage (29) and passage (19), (20) or (26) is blocked. The pilot oil pressure in passages (23) and (24) increases enough to activate straight travel control valve (2) .If all of the control levers for control valve (10), swing control valve (11), control valve (15) and bucket control valve (13) are in the NEUTRAL position, pilot passage (23) is open to the hydraulic tank. The oil pressure in pilot passages (23) and (25) decreases. Straight travel control valve (2) does not activate.When straight travel control valve (2) is activated, oil from the front pump and the rear pump flows in the following manner so that the machine can travel straight.
Oil from front pump (7) flows through line (6) to passage (22) in main control valve (4). Front pump oil in passage (22) separates into two flow paths. One path flows through center bypass passage (12) to right travel control valve (1). The other path flows through passage (18), straight travel control valve (2) and center bypass passage (16) to left travel control valve (3). The right and left travel motors now receive an equal amount of front pump oil.
Oil from rear pump (8) flows through line (5) to passage (21) in main control valve (4). Rear pump oil in passage (21) separates into two flow paths. One path flows through parallel feeder passage (9) to swing control valve (11) and control valve (10).
