(1) Left turn stops
Turn the machine toward the left until left turn stops (1) hit. Continue steering to the left.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

(2) Valve for right turns (3) Valve for left turns
Loosen valves (2) and (3). When no air is present in the oil flow, tighten valves (2) and (3) .

(4) Right turn stops
Turn the machine toward the right until right turn stops (4) hit. Continue steering to the right.
Loosen valves (2) and (3). When no air is present in the oil flow, tighten valves (2) and (3) .
Stop the machine and shut off the engine. Engage the parking brake. Check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank. If the oil level is low, add hydraulic oil until the level is correct.
