Pressurized air can cause personal injury. The air supply lines are pressurized to 830 kPa (120 psi).Purge the air from the system before performing any maintenance to the air system.
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Position brake actuator (6) to bracket assembly (9). Install nuts (14) .

Install Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to bracket assembly (9). Position bracket assembly (9) and install bolts (10). The weight of bracket assembly (9) and the brake actuator is approximately 66 kg (145 lb).

Install bolts (13) to bracket assembly (9). Install pin (12) and install cotter (11) (not shown) to brake actuator (6) .

Connect hose assemblies (8) to brake actuator (6) .Note: Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the brake actuator on the other side of the machine.

Close air tank drain valves (7) .

Remove Tooling (A) from brake actuator (6) .

Install cover (4) and plug (5) (not shown) to brake actuator (6) .Note: Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the brake actuator on the other side of the machine.

Connect tube assembly (2). Install bolts (3). Tighten bolt (1) (not shown).
