Information:
Prepare the Machine
Note: Permit only one person on the machine. Either keep others away from the machine, or keep other personnel in the sight of the operator.
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from any machines that are working and any personnel.
Move the transmission control to the PARK position.
Activate the parking brake.
Place blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Stop the engine.
Turn battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Release hydraulic pressure. Refer to your machines Operation and Maintenance Manual for instructions.
Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic tank to release the pressure in the tank.Parts Required

Install vacuum cap tool (A) onto the hydraulic tank and pressurize.

Remove and retain cover group (B) and hardware.

Threaded boss removal.

Using a suitable cutting tool, remove threaded boss (F).

Grind the area smooth and prep the surface to be welded. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1841, "General Welding Procedures" for additional instructions.
Place a framing square at the bottom plate of the frame and mark the location of threaded boss (1) using a center punch as shown in Illustration 5.
Weld all the way around threaded boss (1) using a 5 mm (0.2 inch) fillet weld.
Prime and paint the work area as required.

Install tube assembly (2) and tube assembly (3).
Install two clips (4), one hard washer (5), and one bolt (6) as shown in Illustration 6.
Remove the vacuum cap tool added in Step 1.
Verify new connections and add fluid if needed.
Start the machine, bring the fluid up to operating temperature and check for leaks.
Reinstall the cover group removed in Step2 if no leaks are found.
