(11) Engine Requested StartThe engine speed control provides the option to change the speed of the engine from the HMI panel or from a remote location. The following five items are functions that can be controlled and/or adjusted:
Desired engine speed change request increase (+) or decrease (-) soft buttons in 1 rpm increments or a specific desired speed setting via a digital display keypad
Engine Control Switch start/stop capability
Soft button for high or low idle control based on engine configuration high or low idle set points

There are three ways to change speed manually from the HMI control panel:
Operator speed request
High and low idle soft buttons

(16) Engine low idle soft buttonRefer to Illustration 4. Changing engine speed manually at the HMI panel can be done by touching the "Operator Speed Request" soft button (12). A key pad will appear. By touching individual number keys, the engine speed can be fine-tuned.Note: The maximum rpm limit that can be set is determined by the high idle pre-set parameter for the engine.High and Low Idle Soft Buttons
Refer to Illustration 4. The operator can change engine speed manually using the HMI. Speed changes are accomplished by touching the "High Idle" (13) or "Low Idle" (16) soft buttons. When the "High Idle" soft button (13) is touched, the engine speed is increased to the high idle pre-set parameter for that engine. When the "Low Idle" soft button (16) is touched, the engine speed is decreased to the low idle pre-set parameter for that engine.Speed Increase and Speed Decrease Soft Buttons
