1. Remove the floor plate from the machine.2. Drain the oil from the power train oil filter. 3. Disconnect four oil lines (1) from the oil filter housing. 4. Disconnect wire harness (2).5. Fasten a hoist and Tool (A) to oil filter housing (3). Remove four bolts (4), and remove the oil filter from the machine. The weight of the oil filter is 27 kg (60 lb). 6. Remove seven O-ring seals (5) from the oil filter. The following steps are for installation of the power train oil filter.7. Put seven O-ring seals (5) in position in the oil filter.8. Fasten a hoist and Tool (A) to oil filter housing (3).9. Put the oil filter in position, and install four bolts (4).10. Make sure the O-ring seals are in position in the oil lines. Connect four oil lines (1) to the oil filter.11. Install the floor plate.12. Check the oil level in the transmission. See the Maintenance Guide.Disassemble & Assembly Power Train Oil Filter
Start By:a. remove power train oil filter 1. Remove wire harness (1).2. Remove the bolts and cover assembly (2) from the housing assembly. 3. Remove nut (5), retainer (4) and element assembly (3) from cover assembly (2).4. Remove the O-ring seal from retainer (4). 5. Remove O-ring seals (6), (7) and (8) from the cover assembly. 6. Remove plugs (9) and (10) from the housing assembly. 7. Remove stem (16) from housing assembly (11).8. Remove ring (12), valve (15), spring (13) and spacers (14) from stem (16). 9. Remove switch assembly (17). 10. Remove spool (20) and spring (19) from housing assembly (11).11. Remove cover (18) and the O-ring seal from the housing assembly. Steps 12 through 19 are for power shift filters only.12. Remove spool assembly (22) and spring (21) from housing assembly (11). 13. Remove shims (27) from spool assembly (22).14. Remove slug (26) from the spool assembly.15. Remove ring (25), sleeve (24), retainer (29), spring (28) and poppet (23) from spool assembly (22). The following steps are for assembly of the power train oil filter.16. Put poppet (23), spring (28), retainer (29) and sleeve (24) in position in spool assembly (22), and install ring (25).17. Install slug (26) in the spool assembly.18. Install shims (27) in spool assembly (22).19. Install spring (21) and spool assembly (22) in housing assembly (11).20. Install the O-ring seal and cover (18).21. Put spring (19) and spool (20) in position in housing assembly (11), and install switch assembly (17).22. Put spacers (14), spring (13) and valve (15) in position on stem (16), and install ring (12).23. Put stem (16) in position in housing assembly (11), and install plug (10).24. Install plug (9).
