This control panel provides control, monitoring, alarm, protection, and communication for the engine or generator set.The control panel is the primary user interface for the engine or generator set. The control panel communicates with the engine and generator and provides connection points for the dealer to add sensors. This panel is also the central communication point between the engine or generator set and the rest of the ship. The control panel communicates with remote panels on the bridge or in the Machinery Control Center and with the SCADA system if present.
