Lubricate 1 fitting on each side. Total 2 fittings.(13)Tilt Braces
Lubricate 2 fittings on each side. Total 4 fittings.(14)Fan Bearing
Lubricate 1 fitting.(15)Hydraulic Control Linkage
Lubricate 2 fittings. (16)Fan And Alternator Belts
1. Check condition and adjustment of belts. Correct adjustment allows 7/8 inch (22 mm) deflection. 2. Loosen alternator mounting bolts, and move alternator to adjust belts. Tighten bolts.(17)Steering Clutch Brake
To Adjust:
Check adjustment. Adjust brakes when pedal travel reaches 6 to 6.5 inches (150 to 165 mm). 1. Release brake pedals.2. Remove covers. 3. Tighten adjusting screw until linings fit firmly around brake drum. 4. Loosen brake support screw locknut. 5. Tighten support screw until it just contacts the brake drum. Back screw out one full turn and tighten locknut. 6. Back adjusting screw out 3 full turns to provide approximately 3 inches (76 mm) pedal free travel. 7. Install covers.(18)Transmission And Torque Converter
1. Remove floor plate. 2. Remove cover and element. 3. Remove and discard element.4. Inspect seal, install new seal if necessary. Install new element. Tighten retaining nut to 10 2 lb. ft. (1.4 0.3 mkg). 5. Install element and cover. 6. Start engine. Remove seat to check oil level. 7. Check oil level. Oil level should be at FULL mark on gauge. Add oil if necessary.8. Stop engine, install seat and floor plate.
