A 2P-8312 External Retaining Ring Pliers 1
B 8S-1378 Stud Remover and Resetter Tool 1 Start By:
Remove the final drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive - Remove".

Remove three planetary shafts (1) from planetary carrier (2).
Use Tool (A) to remove the retaining ring from each planetary shaft (1).

Remove gear (4) and two washers (5) and (6) from the planetary carrier.
Remove two roller bearings (7) and (9) and spacer (8) from gear (4).
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the two remaining gears.
If necessary, use Tool (A) (not shown) in order to remove six taperlock studs (3) from planetary carrier (2).
