Steering frame in locked position
Drive machine to a smooth level surface. Move steering frame lock to the LOCKED position. Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
Put blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels. The blocks will prevent the machine from moving when the parking brake is disengaged.Parking Brake Adjust Procedure
Disengage the parking brake.

Location to install required tooling.
Install required tooling in the location shown in Illustration 2. Apply hydraulic pressure 15160 to 19290 kPa (2200 to 2800 psi).

Loosen jam nut (1) Using a 9/16 inch wrench.
Use feeler gages to measure the clearance between the front pad and the rotor. Turn centering bolt until clearance is 2 mm (0.080 inc) and tighten jam nut.

Remove the cap covering the adjustment screw (6).
Using a ratchet wrench and 1/2 inch socket, turn the screw (6) until the rear pad (5) to rotor (4) gap is 2 mm (0.080 inch). Use feeler gage to measure clearance. Reinstall the dust cap.
Release the hydraulic pressure.Parking Brake Check
Start the engine, engage the parking brake, and place the gear selector in manual mode.
Move the direction control from "F" to "N" to "F" with in 3 seconds. The parking brake lockout is now disabled.
Select the second gear forward. Slowly increase the engine to high idle while monitoring RPM. Refer to Table 1 for maximum hold RPM for the machine. If machine holds at maximum RPM, brake check is complete. If the machine moves before maximum RPM is reached, go to step 4
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Install
