Park the machine on a level surface.Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch or to the controls before you service the equipment . These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.Required Parts

(GK-C1) Connect to Harness (4 POLES), "K858 YL", "K862 GY", "J807 BK"
(1) 7K-1181 Cable Strap
(2) 325-8700 Plug As, "Position E"
(3) 503-0975 Chassis Harness As
Connect harness (3) to existing chassis harness as shown.

(GK-C2) Connect to STEM 3 "EXTEND" Solenoid, "K862 GY", "J807 BK" (WITH YELLOW TAPE)
(GK-C4) Connect to STEM 3 "RETRACT" Solenoid, "K858 YL", "J807 BK"
(1) 7K-1181 Cable Strap, (*For ladder clips, position harness by installing strap over green tape on the harness.)

Route harness (3) to the (2 Multi Solenoid) and connect as shown.Note: Connection and routing of harness (3) is the same with or without tool control system.Note: For other cable straps installed, position harness by installing green tape on harness (3) together with green tape on the existing harness.Note: Harness routing and clip orientation must be as shown in the graphics.
