Remove O-ring seal (22) and cartridge (23) from body (21) .

Remove ring (24) , backup ring (25) and O-ring seal (26) from cartridge (23) .

Note: Put an alignment mark across the cartridge for installation purposes. Note the direction of the arrows at positions (X) and (Y) . The arrows indicate the direction of rotation for the pump.
Remove two bolts (27) from inlet plate (28) . Remove inlet plate (28) from cartridge (23) .

Remove two oil retainer seals (29) from inlet plate (28) .

Use Tool (A) and a hydraulic press to remove bearing (30) from inlet plate (28) .

Remove flex plate (31) from ring (32) .
