Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.
Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install O-ring seal (35), tube assembly (37), and bolts (36).
Install spring (27), outer spring (28), valve (29), and valve seat (30) to hydraulic tank (1).
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Depress valve seat (30) by hand and use Tooling (A) (not shown) to install retaining ring (31).
Install screen assembly (32) to hydraulic tank (1).
Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install O-ring seal (33), cover (34), and bolts (26) to hydraulic tank (1).

Clean the mating surface of hydraulic tank (1). Apply sealant (25) to hydraulic tank (1), as shown. Cross the ends of sealant (25) at the top of hydraulic tank (1), as shown.
Install the valve guide, the spring, the valve, the rectangular seal and drain valve body (24) to hydraulic tank (1).
Install locknuts (23) that hold drain valve body (24) to hydraulic tank (1).
Install drain plug (22) and the O-ring seal to drain valve body (24). Tighten drain plug (22) to a torque of 68 7 N m (50 5 lb ft).
Position gasket (21) (not shown) and tube assembly (20) on hydraulic tank (1), as shown. Install bolts (19).

Install hoist tank plate (18) and grommet (17).
Install sight glass (16), four O-ring seals (15) and retainer (14).

Install the strainer assembly and retaining ring (13).
Install four locking bolts (12) to hydraulic tank (1). Tighten bolts (12 ) to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).

Install plate (11) and grommet (10).
Install glass (9), two O-ring seals (8), and retainer (7).
Install locking bolts (6) to hydraulic tank (1). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).

Use two people in order to position the two halves of the hydraulic tank together. Install bolts (5) and the locknuts to hydraulic tank (1). Each half of the tank weighs approximately 25 kg (56 lb).

Install breather (4) to hydraulic tank (1) and tighten hose clamp (3).

Install the cover, bolts (2) and the washers to hydraulic tank (1). End By:
Install the hydraulic tank (hoist and brake). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank (Hoist and Brake) - Install".
