This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1276" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1276" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
The 8T2860 Cylinder Head Lifting Bracket, a tool used to lift cylinder heads on and off 3606, 3608, 3612 and 3616 Engines, may fail.

Parts Stock
Remove all 8T2860 Cylinder Head Lifting Brackets from Parts Stock.
Affected Product
Remove all 8T2860 Cylinder Head Lifting Brackets from both dealer and customer shops. Replace the existing lifting brackets with a new 1266920 Tiller and either a 1266918 Bracket for 3612 and 3616 Engines or a 1266919 Bracket for 3606 and 3608 Bracket.
Owner Notification
U.S. and Canadian owners will receive the attached Owner Notification.
Service Claim Allowances
Parts Stock and Dealer Shop Tools
Submit one claim for all 8T2860 Cylinder Head Lifting Brackets removed from Parts Stock. If an 8T2860 Cylinder Head Lifting Bracket is replaced in dealer shop tools stock, claim for one 1266920 Tiller, one 1266918 Bracket and one 1266919 Bracket. The 1266920 Tiller can be used with either bracket.
US and Canadian Dealers Only - When submitting a Parts Stock claim use 99Z00007 in the Product Identification Number Field.
Affected Product
Submit one claim for each customer-owned lifting bracket replaced. Claim for one 1266920 Tiller and either a 1266918 Bracket (for 3612 and 3616 Engines) or a 1266919 Bracket (for 3606 and 3608 Bracket).
If the customer has both inline (3606 or 3608 Engines) and vee-type (3612 or 3616 Engines), claim for one 1266920 Tiller, one 1266918 Bracket and one 1266919 Bracket. The 1266920 Tiller can be used with either bracket.
Submit one claim for each lifting bracket replaced from a customer's shop tool stock. List the serial number of the customer's engine in the heading of the claim. If the customer has more than one engine, but only has one lifting bracket, list the serial number of one of their engines in the heading of the claim and list their remaining engine serial numbers in the body of the claim. Make a separate SIMS Report for each of the engine serial numbers listed in the body of the claim so the serial numbers will be removed from the Product Information System (PIS) PIP notification screen.
Parts will be paid for at dealer net prices.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
