(1) Vibratory manifold
(2) Vibratory solenoidVibratory manifold (1) is located inside the engine compartment, on the rear wall of the tractor. The operator station deck plates provide access to this component.Vibratory manifold (1) controls the speed of the vibratory motors. The auxiliary pump provides supply oil to the vibratory manifold to drive the vibratory system. The vibratory manifold contains a valve that controls hydraulic oil flow to the vibratory motors. Motor speed is controlled by the position of the valve.Vibratory solenoid (2) is a proportional solenoid. This solenoid controls the position of the vibratory valve.The screed ECM controls the proportional current signal to vibratory solenoid (2). The signal is calibrated at zero motor rpm and at 3000 motor rpm. A linear scale factor is calculated by the ECM to determine the solenoid current required between these speeds.
