A high pressure fuel line must be disconnected. To avoid personal injury or fire from fuel spray, the engine must be stopped before the fuel line is disconnected.
Contact to high pressure fuel can cause personal injury or death. Do not allow high pressure fuel to contact your skin.
Turn the power disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System - Prime".
If equipped with a sound suppression arrangement, refer to Special Instruction, "Install the 397-3556 Sound Suppression Panel Gp for the Sound Suppression Arrangement" for specific panel locations and the correct removal or installation procedure.

Turn the fuel supply (1) to the OFF position.
Raise the engine covers.

Disconnect harness assemblies (2) .

Remove bolts (3) and remove manifold (4) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (6) , (11) , and (7) . Disconnect hose assemblies (10) and (12) .
Remove module (5) . Remove bolt (13) and remove the bracket.
Remove bolts (9) and remove harness assembly (7) . Remove plate (8) .

Disconnect tube assembly (14) and (16) . Disconnect hose assembly (15) .

Remove bolts (19) and bracket (18) .

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to fuel pump (20) . The weight of fuel pump (20) is approximately 100 kg (220 lb).
Remove bolts (21) and remove fuel pump (20) . Remove the O-ring seals and the dowel.Installation Procedure
Install fuel pump (20) in the reverse order of removal.
