(3) Bolts to mount
Remove the bolts (3) from the bar and save the parts.
Remove bar from front axle assembly. Block the wheels in order to keep the wheels stationary after the bar has been removed.Note: Use a suitable lifting device to remove the bar from the machine.
Install the 2G-8624 Bushings into the new bar. Use Tooling 198-9113 Seal Installer As and a suitable press to install the sleeve bearings. Be sure to apply a layer of grease inside the sleeve bearings.
Install the new bar into the machine. Alignment of the spindles may need adjustment in order to install the new bar. Use a large pry bar to lean one of the tires inward.
Use the bolts (3) that are saved in Step 1 to mount the bar. Tighten the bolts (3) to 215 40 N m (160 30 lb ft).
Lubricate the joints with approved grease.
