This Special Instruction is required on machines located inside Japan, only. Do not perform this Special Instruction on machines located outside of Japan.This Special Instruction details the process to properly set the machine speed limit.Safety Section
Do not operate or work on this machine unless you have read and understand the instructions and warnings in the Operation and Maintenance Manuals. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Contact your Cat dealer for replacement manuals. Proper care is your responsibility.
Installation Procedure
Connect a computer equipped with Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) to the service port.

Machine speed limit setting (English)

Machine speed limit setting (Japanese)
Modify the configuration for the machine speed limit. See the following parameters:
910K 1motor: 36.0km/h
910K 2motor: 41.0km/h
914K: 41.0km/h
Generate a Product Status Report (PSR) after reprogramming and compare with the original PSR. If any differences exist, correct the configuration with the original value.
Disconnect the Cat ET service tool from machine.
Test the machine.
Submit the before and after PSR's via the Dealer Solution Network (DSN).References
