2. Remove two bolts (3).3. Remove two bolts (2) from elbows (1) on each side of the expansion tank. Remove elbows (1). Check the gaskets and seals for wear or damage and replace with new parts if necessary. 4. Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device to expansion tank (4) as shown. The weight of the expansion tank with water lines is approximately 95 kg (209 lb). 5. Remove two bolts and washers (5).6. Remove four bolts (6) and disconnect elbow (7). Check the gasket under elbow (7) for wear or damage and replace with a new part if necessary. 7. Carefully remove expansion tank (8) and the water lines from the engine. For installation of the expansion tank and water lines, reverse the removal steps.8. Fill the expansion tank with coolant to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
