1. Remove twelve bolts (1) that hold pulley (2) to the vibration damper.2. Use two people to remove pulley (2). The weight of the pulley is approximately 18 kg (40 lb). 3. Install Tool (A) 180 degreesapart as shown. It may be necessary to turn bolts (3) slightly to allow the vibration damper to pass over the bolt heads. 4. Slide vibration damper (4) forward on Tool (A) far enough to attach a lifting sling to the vibration damper.5. Fasten a suitable lifting device to the lifting sling.6. Remove vibration damper (4). The weight of the vibration damper is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). Remove Tool (A). 7. Remove nine bolts (5) that hold adapter (6) to the crankshaft. Use two people to remove adapter (6). The weight of the adapter is approximately 18 kg (40 lb).Install Vibration Damper & Pulley
1. Use two people to put adapter (6) in position on the crankshaft. The weight of the adapter is approximately 18 kg (40 lb). Install nine bolts (5) that hold adapter (6) to the crankshaft.2. Tighten nine bolts (5) to a torque of 220 N m (160 lb ft). 3. Install Tool (A) 180 degreesapart as shown.4. Attach a lifting sling and a suitable lifting device to vibration damper (4). The weight of the vibration damper is approximately 40 kg (88 lb).5. Slide vibration damper (4) onto Tool (A). Remove the lifting sling from the vibration damper. It may be necessary to turn bolts (3) slightly to allow the vibration damper to pass over the bolt heads.6. Slide the vibration damper toward the rear of the engine until it makes contact with the adapter.7. Remove Tool (A). 8. Use two people to put pulley (2) in position. The weight of the pulley is approximately 18 kg (40 lb).9. Install twelve bolts (1) that hold pulley (2) to the vibration damper. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 130 14 N m (95 lb ft).
