Separate the track. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate".

Install Tooling (C). Remove bolts (1). Use a lifting sling and a hoist to remove cover assembly (2) from the inside rear of the track roller frame. The weight of cover assembly (2) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).
Illustration 2 g00868056Note: Cap the ends of all the hose assemblies in order to prevent oil loss. This will also keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system.
Remove hose assemblies (3), (4), (5), and (6).

Remove bolts (7) and cover assembly (8).

Install Tooling (C). Remove bolts (9) and use a hoist and a lifting sling to remove cover assembly (10). The weight of the cover assembly is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

Position Tooling (B) under the undercarriage frame assembly. Raise the side of the machine in order for the track roller frame to clear the track.

Pull hose assemblies (3), (4), (5), and (6) through the track roller frame and position the hose assemblies out of the way.

Fasten two lifting slings and a hoist to track roller frame assembly (11).

Use Tooling (A) to remove bolts and spacers (12). Remove the track roller frame assembly. The weight of the track roller frame assembly is approximately 8400 kg (18,500 lb).
