TRANSMISSION CONTROL LINKAGE
6. Rod. Dimension A. 2.75 in. (70.0 mm).6. Make adjustment to the end on cable assembly (2) or nuts (3) until the bolts can be installed through transmission lever (1).7. Move transmission lever lock (5) to the OFF position.8. Move transmission lever assembly (4) through the entire operating range and check for detent engagement in each position.
The following procedure and pressures are to be used only for 910 WHEEL LOADERS with Serial Nos. 41Y1-UP.

When tests are made in a closed area, activate the brakes and use blocks to prevent machine movement during the tests. Let only approved personnel on the machine. Keep other personnel off the machine and in view of the operator.
SELECTOR AND PRESSURE CONTROL
8. Load piston. 19. Spacers. All tests and adjustments must be made with the oil in the power train hydraulic system at normal temperature for operation. Be sure the linkage adjustments are correct before the tests are made.
Do not make any adjustments to the control linkage with engine running.
Adjustment Of Transmission Control Linkage (Serial No. 41Y1-41Y1139)
1. Loosen nut (2) and remove the bolts from the flange. Disconnect cable assembly and flange (1) from direction selector spool (8).2. Loosen nut (4) and remove the bolts from the flange. Disconnect cable assembly and flange (3) from speed selection spool (6).3. Pull speed selector spool (6) out so it is in the THIRD speed position against stop (5).4. Pull direction selector spool (8) out against stop (7), then push the spool back one detent to the NEUTRAL position.
CABLE ASSEMBLIES AND FLANGES
1. Cable assembly (direction) and flange. 2. Nut. 3. Cable assembly (speed) and flange. 4. Nut.
SELECTOR AND PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE
5. Stop. 6. Speed selector spool. 7. Stop. 8. Direction selector spool.5. Move transmission selector lever (9) to the NEUTRAL position and engage transmission lever lock (13).

9. Transmission selector lever. 10. Collar. 11. Lever assembly. 12. Cap. 13. Transmission lever lock.6. Remove cap (12) and turn transmission selector lever (9) until rack (14) is even with the top of the lever assembly (11). The number 3 on collar (10) should be next to the arrow on lever assembly (11). If it is not, loosen set screw and move.7. Connect the direction cable assembly to direction selector spool (8)
