Description of Change: This grommet better fits the diameter of the engine harnesses for the above engines. The grommets are used to secure the harness to the engine. Installation of the grommets reduces tension on the wires that are in the harness.Adaptable To: The 278-6469 Grommet is adaptable to first production of the engines that are listed above.

Location of the grommets (typical wiring group) The installation of all four grommets on the wiring group will be necessary.The 278-6469 Grommet replaces 8T-3440 Grommet. The change is effective with the following engines:
