(21) Control pedal for the swing boom Swing cylinder (1) is connected to the boom foot on the upper structure. Swing cylinder (1) controls the BOOM RIGHT and BOOM LEFT movement.Swing cylinder (1) is driven by oil pressure from right pump (18). Oil from right pump (18) enters main control valve (4) through line (17). When the control pedal (21) for the swing boom is in the NEUTRAL position, the oil from main control valve (4) will flow through center bypass passage (8) and through swing boom control valve (10). The oil then flows through return passage (11) and return line (15) to hydraulic tank (16) .Boom Right
When control pedal (21) for the swing boom is moved to the BOOM RIGHT position, pilot oil from pilot control valve (14) will flow through pilot line (5) to swing boom control valve (10). This will cause the stem to shift downward. Pump oil from line (17) enters main control valve (4) and flows through parallel feeder passage (12). The oil flows through load check valve (9), passage (7) and line (2) to the rod end of the swing cylinder (1) .Return oil in the head end of swing cylinder (1) flows through line (3) to the swing boom control valve (10). The return oil then flows through return passage (13) to return line (15). This causes the boom to swing to the right.Boom Left
When control pedal (21) for the swing boom is moved to the BOOM LEFT position, pilot oil from pilot control valve (14) will flow through pilot line (6). The pilot oil then enters swing boom control valve (10). This causes the stem to shift upward. The oil from line (17) flows to the head end of swing cylinder (1) through parallel feeder passage (12), load check valve (9), swing boom control valve (10) and line (3) .Return oil from the rod end of swing cylinder (1) flows through line (2) to swing boom control valve (10). The return oil then flows through return passage (13) to return line (15). This causes the boom to swing to the left.
