A 185-3630 Strap Wrench As 1 Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release". Note: Mark all the hose assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies. This helps prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Use Tooling (A) to remove filters (5) and (6).
Remove hose assemblies (4). Remove bolts (3) and oil filter and base (2). Installation Procedure

Position oil filter and base (2) and install bolts (3). Install hose assemblies (4).
Use Tooling (A) to install filters (6) and (5).
