Note: The running clearance will be set as the parking brake is installed.
Install parking brake (1) over the disc.
Install mounting bolts (2) far enough into the mounting surface in order to support parking brake (1) .
Tighten adjustment bolt (5) until both the brake linings are clamped on the disc.
Tighten mounting bolts (2) until the bolts make contact with the urethane springs. Tighten mounting bolts (2) half of a turn more.
Tighten jam nuts (3) against the mounting surface.

Use Tooling (A) to apply 1517 69 kPa (220 10 psi) to parking brake (1) .
Use adjustment bolt (5) to set a running clearance of 0.64 0.13 mm (0.025 0.005 inch).
Adjust mounting bolts (2) and jam nuts (3) at the same time in order to even running clearance on the linings.
