Remove Crankshaft Rear Seal Wear Sleeve
preparatory step: a) remove crankshaft rear seal1. Using a chisel and hammer, cut the old wear sleeve and remove it.2. Remove any burrs on crankshaft caused when removing old sleeve.Install Crankshaft Rear Seal Wear Sleeve
1. Using tool (A), install the crankshaft rear seal wear sleeve as follows: a) Position the locator assembly (4) on the crankshaft, and install bolts (3).b) Place wear sleeve (1) on locator assembly with bevel on sleeve toward rear of engine.c) Place the wear sleeve installer ring (2) in the pusher plate (6), and install the plate on locator assembly (4). Install nut (5).d) Tighten the nut until pusher plate bottoms against the locator assembly.e) Remove the pusher plate (6), wear sleeve installer ring (2), and nut (5).2. Remove tool setup (A).concluding step: a) install crankshaft rear seal
