C 1P-0510 Driver Gp 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.Note: Lubricate the internal components with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Use Tooling (C) to install lip seal (18) to flange assembly (11). Install the seal with the lip of the seal towards the inside of the pump.
Use Tooling (B) to install retaining ring (17) to flange (11). Note: Assemble retaining ring (17) with the opening over the drain hole.
Use Tooling (C) to install lip seal (16) to flange (11). Install the seal with the lip of the seal away from the pump. Note: Use two people in order to move flange (11). The weight of flange (11) is approximately 30 kg (65 lb).

Install pressure plate (12) to the front face of gear plate (10).
Install O-ring seal (14), seal (15) and two dowels (13).

Use two people to install gear plate (10) to flange assembly (11). The weight of gear plate (10) is approximately 24 kg (53 lb).

Install drive gear (9) and idler gear (8).

Install pressure plate (7) and seal (6).

Install O-ring seal (3), eight studs (4) and two dowels (5) to cover plate (2).

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cover plate (2). The weight of cover plate (2) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb).
Install cover plate (2).

Install eight nuts (1). Tighten eight nuts (1) to a torque of 333 7 N m (245 5 lb ft). End By:
Install the implement pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Implement) - Install".
