Position the link assembly (E) on the blade.
Use pin (12), and two spacers (10) to connect the link assembly.
Use retainer (2), washer (6), and bolt (7) to secure pin (12).
Place blocks under the corners of the blade. Lower the blade onto the blocks.
Disconnect the hoist from the blade.

Set the length of the pitch link for job conditions.
Remove pin-lock (K).
Use a large adjustable wrench to turn the turn buckle.While facing the left-hand end of the link, rotate the turn buckle sleeve counterclockwise to shorten the link. This adjustment is used for fine grading or soft material conditions. The cutting edge angle will be approximately 56 degrees. Rotate the turn buckle sleeve clockwise to extend the link for tougher material conditions. The cutting edge angle will be approximately 60 degrees. Use the rod assembly to gage the pitch link setting.
Grease the four grease fittings that are on the pitch link assembly. After the fittings have been greased install protectors (J) on all four of the grease fittings.
Replace pin-lock (K).

Connect the angle cylinders to the blade using two spacers (10), pin (11), retainer (1), bolt (4), and washer (3).
Repeat for the other side.

Connect the tilt cylinder to the blade using two spacers (7), pin (8), retainer (9), washer (2), and bolt (5).

Tighten four of bolts (6) to a torque of 800 100 N m (590 74 lb ft).
Reposition the blade and tighten four of bolts (6) to a torque of 800 100 N m (590 74 lb ft).
