Remove the coupler cartridge.

Remove bolts (4) and rings (3) .
Remove nut (6), nut (5), the washers, and bolt (1) .
Remove wedge (2) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Slowly loosen bolt (11) until the spring tension is released. Remove bolt (11), ring (10), tube (12), spring (9), plate (8), and shaft assembly (7) .Installation Procedure
Install the quick coupler lock in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolt (11). Tighten bolt (11) to a torque of 295 20 N m (218 15 lb ft).
Hand tighten nut (5). Tighten nut (6) against nut (5) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 295 20 N m (218 15 lb ft).
