Remove the generator from the engine. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Generator - Remove".
Remove the coupling discs from the rotor shaft.
Rest the rotor on one of the poles. Use an appropriate lifting device in order to remove the rotor from the stator. See illustration 1.Note: If maintenance is required on the rotor, the rotor must be rebalanced before the rotor is reinstalled in the generator.Install the Rotor
Use an appropriate lifting device in order to install the rotor in the stator. See illustration 1.
Install the coupling discs to the shaft of the rotor.
Install the generator to the engine. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Generator - Install".
