(01Z32821-Up) Marine EnginesDescription of Change: A new adapter is being used in aftercooler groups for separate circuit aftercooler systems on these marine engines. The new brass adapter is stronger and more corrosion resistant than the former aluminum adapter.
Location of new brass 145-1822 Adapter used in 7E-0419 Aftercooler Group.Adaptable To: The new brass 145-1822 Adapter is a direct replacement for the former aluminum 9Y-9697 Adapter in the 7E-0419 Aftercooler Group. The former adapter has been canceled. The new brass 145-1822 Adapter is effective with 3208 (01Z32821-Up) Marine Engines and is adaptable to all 425/435 HP direct injection turbocharged aftercooled (DITA) 3208 (01Z) Marine Engines with separate circuit aftercoolers (SCAC). Each 7E-0419 Aftercooler Group requires two brass 145-1822 Adapters.
