MOUNTING AS 2348095 - Caterpillar

Introduction
The following procedure will describe the steps that are required in order to remove the stabilizers from the machines that are listed above. This procedure is only suitable for machines that are supplied to the North American market. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Stabilizer - Remove" for the information that is required in order to remove the stabilizers from the machine. Note: Plug the ports on the stabilizer valve in order to prevent dirt from entering the stabilizer valve.

Refer to Tables 1 and 2 for the list of components.
Install the counterweight (1) onto the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight - Remove and Install".
Install three face seal plugs (6) and (7) to the ends of the three hoses that were connected to the stabilizer valve. Refer to Tables 1 and 2.
Tape the electrical connectors that were connected to the solenoids on the stabilizer valve. The tape will prevent moisture or dirt from entering the connectors.
Pull the hoses and the electrical connectors inside the chassis. Secure the hoses and the electrical connectors inside the chassis. Ensure that the hoses and the electrical connectors are not in contact with any moving parts.
