Monitoring System Functional Test
To ensure proper operation of the monitoring system, check the system daily.

ON - The battery disconnect switch must be ON to supply electrical power to the machine so that the electrical systems will function.
ON - The engine start switch key (1) must be turned ON to supply electrical power to the operator compartment so that the monitoring system will function.
Display Test Switch - With a stopped engine, press operator mode scroll switch (2) to the ON position. All gauges (3) and indicators (4) should come on in the monitoring system display and fault light (5) should flash until the switch is released. The switch will return to the OFF position when the switch is released.If any of the indicators do not come on or fault light does not flash, do not start the engine. Complete all the necessary repairs before you start the engine.If all the indicators come on and the fault light flashes, start the engine. Repeat the panel test with the engine running. Press the operator mode scroll switch to the ON position. The fault alarm should sound. The indicators should come on. The fault light should flash.If the indicators, the fault light, or the alarm fail to function, stop the engine. Inspect the system that failed. Complete all the necessary repairs before the engine is started.
