Illustration 1. 1. Remove the components of the 7V2888 Link Group.2. Cut away part of the plate on the fuel tank as shown in Illustration 1. Refer to the March 8, 1972 Service Magazine article, "Welding On Fuel And Hydraulic Tanks" on page 8 before cutting the plate.3. Cut the two plates shown in Illustration 2 off the loader frame assembly. These plates can not be used again. Throw them away.
Illustration 2.4. Cut the two plates shown in Illustration 3 off the rear frame assembly. Remove material from these plates as shown in Illustration 4. Weld them to the loader frame assembly. See Illustration 5.5. Fabricate two plates from high-strength structural steel to the dimensions shown in Illustration 6. Weld the plates to the rear frame assembly. See Illustration 7.6. Install the link components as shown in Illustration 8.
