The addition of grommet (1) and tie strap (2) is included in the improvements to the 239-4214 Chassis Harness As (3). Position grommet (1) around harness (3) so that the harness does not make contact with beam (4). Use tie strap (2) to secure the grommet to the harness.The routing of the 257-7997 Sensor Harness As that is installed on the following machines should be inspected (S/N: 7PZ884-1419; AAF229-271). Strap the harness so that movement is eliminated.

Make sure that 257-7997 Sensor Harness As (5) and 239-4214 Chassis Harness As (3) do not make contact with the plate.

Make sure that harness (3) and harness (5) are secured to clip (6).

Make sure that harness (3) and harness (5) are secured to the clip and the links (8) .To further improve the routing on some of the earlier serial numbers of the AAF and 7PZ, a 255-0627 Bracket As (9) can be installed in place of the 5T-4568 Plate attached to the top of the drive shaft guard. Use the existing hardware from the plate to attach the new bracket to the top of the drive shaft guard and hardware from the wire clip that is on the side of the torque converter. Refer to Illustration 5 for routing the harness and strapping the harness.
