MOUNTING GP-SENSOR 3392038 - Caterpillar

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Be sure all the hydraulic pressure is released before any fittings, hoses or components are loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.
d. Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.e. Carefully loosen the plugs at the rear of the tilt cylinder. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two plugs. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.f. Tighten the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank.g. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released.4. Using two persons, remove the seat assembly from the cab. Remove the access cover located directly under the seat assembly. 5. Put identification marks on the three hose assemblies connected to the pressure control and selector valve for installation purposes. Disconnect the three hose assemblies from the valve.6. Remove four bolts (2), and remove pressure control and selector valve (1). Install the pressure control and selector valve in the reverse order of removal.Disassemble & Assemble Pressure Control & Selector Valve
Start By:a. remove pressure control and selector valve 1. Remove valve assembly (2) from valve body (1). 2. Disassemble valve assembly (2) as follows: a. Remove fitting (4), spring (3) and valve (6) from body (5).b. Remove O-ring seal (7) from the fitting. 3. Remove fitting (11), shims (10), spring (9) and spool (8) from the valve body.4. Remove O-ring seal (14) from fitting (11).5. Remove plug (12) and O-ring seal (13). Assemble the pressure control and selector valve in the reverse order of disassembly.End By:a. install pressure control and selector valve
