MOUNTING GP-STARTING MOTOR 3521020 - Caterpillar

1. Remove three bolts (2) and the washers from cover assembly (1). Open cover assembly (1). 2. Loosen two retaining bolts (5). Mark and identify wiring harness (4) and (6) from installation purposes. Housings (4) and (6) from implement electronic control (3). 3. Remove four bolts (7), the mounts, the spacers, and the washers that hold implement electronic control (3) to cover assembly (1). Remove implement electronic control (3) from cover assembly (1). The following steps are for the installation of the implement electronic control. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.4. Put implement electronic control (3) in position to cover assembly (1). Install four bolts (7), the mounts, the spacers, and the washers. 5. Connect wiring harnesses (4) and (6) to implement electronic control (3). Tighten retaining bolts (5).6. Close cover assembly (1). Install three bolts (2) and the washers in cover assembly (1).
