Ejector Forward
When valve spool (7) is moved to FORWARD position (D), no illustration, the oil from pump (19) goes around the valve spool and through line (1). The oil through line (1) goes to the head end of ejector cylinder (6) and to the rod end of floor cylinder (8). The pump oil through line (1) also goes into check valve (11). The pressure of the pump oil moves the poppet valve away from seat (16) which opens the oil passage through check valve (11). The pump oil in the head end of ejector cylinder (6) moves the piston which pushes the ejector forward. The pump oil in the rod end of floor cylinder (8) moves the piston which pulls the floor open. The moving pistons in cylinders (6) and (8) push oil from the cylinders through line (5), around valve spool (7) and through line (2) into filter (12) and hydraulic tank (18).Release the control lever and spring (24) moves valve spool (7) and the control lever to the HOLD position.Elevator Circuit
Second Forward
When valve spool (6), in control valve (3), is moved to SECOND FORWARD position (D), the oil from the large section of pump (22) goes around the valve spools, through the control valve, through line (8) into the filter and tank. The SECOND FORWARD position of the valve spool closes the openings for the oil in pilot line (2) and the oil in pilot line (9). With no opening for the oil in pilot line (2), the oil in line (14), from the small section of pump (22), goes through flow control valve (12) into control valve (15). The oil from the flow control valve is in the passage, in control valve (15), for elevator forward. With no opening for the oil in line (9), the oil in line (17), from the large section of pump (20), goes into the passage for elevator forward in control valve (15). The oil from pumps (20) and (22) mix in the elevator forward passage and goes through line (7) to elevator motor (5). The oil from the small and large pumps runs the elevator motor at fast rpm.The oil from elevator motor (5) goes through line (4), through control valve (15), through a line connected to line (8) and then into filter (16) and tank (21).Detent balls in the housing over the end of valve spool (6) keep the valve spool in SECOND FORWARD position (D). The control lever for the elevator must be moved to HOLD position to stop the rotation of the elevator.
SCHEMATIC OF ELEVATOR CIRCUIT IN SECOND FORWARD POSITION
1. Oil line for elevator reverse. 2. Pilot oil line for small pump. 3. Control valve. 4. Line to motor for reverse. 5. Elevator motor. 6. Valve spool for elevator motor. 7. Line to motor for forward. 8. Line from control valve to filter and tank. 9. Pilot oil line for large pump. 10. Valve spool for ejector and floor cylinders. 11. Valve spool for bowl cylinders.
