1. Put 2P-2506 Lubricant on the threads and taper of kingbolt (7), the face of nut (4) and the taper in support assembly (8).2. Put 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease on the spherical surface of kingbolt (7).3. Install cap (6) on kingbolt (7). Install kingbolt (7) into support assembly (8).4. Install nut (4), tighten to a torque of 2575 260 N m (1900 190 lb ft), and stake the threads (make a mark with a punch) on kingbolt (7).5. Install four bolts (5) at even spaces around cap (6). Install socket (2) on bolts (5). Do not install shims (3).6. Put nuts (1) on bolts (5). Tighten the nuts evenly until there is a small restriction to movement of cap (6) and socket (2) on kingbolt (7).7. Use a feeler gauge to measure the distance between socket (2) and cap (6) at each bolt (5).8. Make a thickness of shims (3) (use a minimum of six 5D-4363 Shims and use 5D-1499 and 5D-1500 Shims as needed) the same as the distance measured plus ... 0.03 to 0.15 mm (.001 to .006 in)9. Remove the nuts (1), socket (2) and bolts (5).10. Install shims (3) and socket (2).11. Connect the assembly to the frame. Install eight bolts (5) and tighten to ... 525 20 N m (390 15 lb ft)
