Typical Example1. Disconnect clip (1) to gain access to the outer pump drive shaft guard bolt. Remove three bolts (3), and remove guard (2). 2. Remove eight bolts (5) that fasten drive shaft (4) to yokes (6) and (7).3. Push yoke (6) into the pump drive housing, and remove the hydraulic pump drive shaft.4. Remove the universal joint group from each end of the shaft. The following steps are for installation of the hydraulic pump drive shaft.5. Put the universal joint group in position on each end of the shaft, and install the bolts that hold them. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 57 3 N m (42 2 lb ft).6. Put hydraulic pump drive shaft (4) in position, and install eight bolts (5) that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 57 3 N m (42 2 lb ft).7. Put guard (2) in position, and install three bolts (3). Install the clip under the top guard bolt as shown. Connect clip (1).
