Information:

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic circuits (boom, stick, bucket, and swing), the travel circuits, and the hydraulic oil tank at the breather cap before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed. Remove the filler plug only when the engine is stopped and the filler plug is cool enough to touch.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Fully retract the stick cylinder rod.b. Adjust the position of the bucket so it will be flat on the ground when the boom is lowered.c. Lower the boom until the bucket is flat on the ground.d. Stop the engine.e. Place the engine start switch in the "ON" position without starting the engine.f. Move the control levers for the boom, stick, bucket and swing to all full stroke positions. This will release any pressure that might be present in the pilot system.g. Slowly move the travel pilot control pedal to "FORWARD" and "REVERSE" travel positions. This will release any pressure in the travel circuit.h. Slowly loosen and remove the pressure cap on the hydraulic tank to release the hydraulic pressure.i. Reinstall and tighten the pressure cap on the hydraulic tank.j. The pressure in the hydraulic system has been released and implement/travel lines and components can be removed.
During removal, do not mix the components of the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve.
2. Remove knob (1) from the hydraulic activation control valve lever.3. Remove socket head bolt (2) with the lever and spring (3) from the oscillating axle/operating brake valve. 4. Remove six screws (5) that hold cover (4) in position. Remove the cover from the left hand console. 5. Remove four socket head cap screws (6) that hold left hand console cover (7) in position. Remove the left hand console cover. 6. Put identification marks on two hose assemblies (8) for installation purposes. Disconnect the two hose assemblies from the bottom of the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve. 7. Remove two socket head cap screws (9). 8. Remove cover (10) for the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve. 9. Remove two spacers (11) from the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve. 10. Lift up boot (12). Use a suitable punch to remove pin (14) from lever (13). Remove lever (13) from cam (15). 11. Use a suitable punch to remove bolt (17) from cam (15). Remove cam (15) from housing (16). 12. Remove two socket head cap screws (18) from housing (16). Remove housing (16) and plate (19). 13. Remove plunger guide (27), two retainers (23), retainer (28), spring (24), plunger (25) and spring (26) from housing (22) at locations (20) and (21). The following steps are for the installation of the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve.14. Check the condition of all parts of the dozer/stabilizer pilot control valve. If any of the parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.15. Check the condition of the O-ring seals in the ends
